Calling all Allies! Black, Indigenous, People of Color and White Americans, we must work together to dismantle systemic discrimination and heal the hateful legacy of racism in our country. We must all become antiracist.

Recently, my friend, Tina reached out to pick my brain on how we could work together in our circles of influence to create dialogue and change in regards to the recent deaths of unarmed African Americans and civil unrest. We decided of course to start first with a podcast episode. Our goal is to model having a conversation about race and racism, learn from one another and share ways to support BIPOC. We also decided to include some youngsters since they seem to be leading the movement worldwide-screaming, “We are stronger together!”

This episode covers:

-Discussing recent events and racism in your family

-How to recognize racism and what to do about it

-White privilege and how to leverage it for good

-How to become antiracist

-What each of us can do to fight racial injustice

“In a racist society, it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be antiracist. ” -Angela Davis

Thanks, Tina, Delaney and Bailee!
